Accessibility
A site everyone can use.
Housing is for everyone, so the website has to be too. We aim for WCAG 2.1 AA, and we treat gaps as bugs to fix — not footnotes.
What's built in
- Semantic structure — real landmarks, one clear heading per page, and labels on interactive controls.
- Text alternatives on meaningful images, so screen readers get the same information everyone else does.
- A color palette measured for contrast, not eyeballed — body text and controls meet or exceed AA ratios.
- Everything works by keyboard, including Quick Exit.
- Reduced-motion preferences are honored: the intro animation and background videos stay off when your device asks for less motion.
Where we're honest about limits
This is a young site and testing is ongoing. If you hit something that doesn't work with your screen reader, your keyboard, or your eyes, that's a defect on our side — not yours.
